I have been playing organ and piano since 1975. This channel is full of videos of my renditions and arrangements to tunes I like to play on piano and hopefully some you can learn by following the notes on the performance videos, piano tutorials and sheet music that is available for most of my arrangements. I Left My Heart In San Francisco performed on Yamaha HS8 Electone in the 90's
Throwback footage! Here's another video of my organ concert recorded on the Yamaha HS8 Electone in the 1990's in my hometown of Doncaster, England.
I'm playing a lovely rendition of "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" - a song made famous by Tony Bennett, and I'm playing harmonica as the lead instrument (which I'm gliding using a switch on my right foot) with a piano accompaniment where I bring in the strings. Just listen to the quality of that piano sound in 1987. This organ was the first Yamaha to use Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) for certain sounds, the piano being one of them. This was a 'sampled' piano sound and fully touch sensitive. Incredible technology for its day. Remember, I'm playing the bass notes on the pedalboard with my left foot. I hope you enjoy this.

This is something completely different. I recently found a DVD of a concert I did back in the 1990's on the amazing Yamaha HS8 Electone organ. This organ came out in 1987 as Yamaha’s flagship. I knew even before reading the description what I was hearing you depicting on the organ, it was so realistic! "Oh, listen to that wind!" That storm with the thunder was incredible, and a powerful hymn I had heard my mother play many times. What a unbelievably creative, artistic arrangement!!
